What is a job statement?

The signing of the Labor Laws (CLT), which regulates labor relations, establishes the following in Article 3: “Any individual who provides services of a non-eventual nature to an employer, under his dependence and for a salary, is considered to be employed. Sole paragraph - There will be no distinctions regarding the type of employment and the condition of worker, nor between intellectual, technical and manual work. ”


Therefore, according to the CLT, even if you only provide service to someone on certain days of the week, you are still considered an employee, as there is a working relationship between employee and employer, in addition to remuneration. This is because some rules are established, such as working hours and time of entry and exit, thus configuring an employment relationship.

Then comes the question of what is SOW (statement of work) of any given project or assignment. Few of us get along that SOW is the same as the scope of work. 

That is, with or without registration in the portfolio, every employer can attest that there are people who work for him in his home or company. And you, as a service provider, can also - and should - declare this employment relationship. In order to declare it, however, it is important to prove some essential requirements of the CLT, present in articles 2 and 3: non-eventuality, subordination, burdensome, personality and otherness - and, for that, some documents are needed.
