Oi closes agreement with AGU and will pay R $ 7 billion to the Union

In judicial recovery since 2016, the telecommunications group Oi closed an agreement with the Attorney General's Office (AGU) to obtain a 50% discount on the debt of R $ 14.3 billion with the Union. Debts came from 198 fines applied by the National Telecommunications Agency (Anatel) to the operator. According to the agreement announced by AGU, the remaining 50% of the debt will be paid in installments as follows. A total of R $ 1.8 billion deposited by Oi in Justice will be converted into income for Anatel, as payment of the first installments. The remaining amount will be divided into installments for the Telecommunications Inspection Fund (Fistel) , whose resources are one of Anatel's sources of financing. In a note, AGU reported that this is the largest agreement in history closed by the agency and Anatel. With the procedure, 1,117 tax enforcement actions, 199 annulment actions, 82 precautionary actions and 300 embargoes on enforcement were extinguished. According to AGU, t

For now, the novelty is only available to companies required to submit the Declaration of Federal Tax Debits and Credits, Social Security and Other Entities and Funds (DCTFWeb). The Revenue, however, will extend Pix to other types of employers. Still this m

Companies will reduce blocking to the cloud through hybrid and multicloud strategies

Last year, the growing dominance of public clouds forced traditional enterprise computing companies to define their strategic focus on hybrid and multicloud clouds. In 2021, companies will be more concerned with the dependence on first-tier suppliers. IT professionals will look for hybrid and multicloud tools to reduce the risk of being tied to specific vendors. This is already a common tactic, considering that, according to Flexera's estimates, 93% of companies have a multicloud strategy and 87% have a hybrid cloud strategy. In the future, the growing maturity of hybrid / multicloud offerings from AWS, Microsoft and Google will drive enterprise cloud managers to increase their spending with these providers. At the same time, private cloud firms IBM, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Cisco, Dell EMC, VMware and others will continue to strengthen their hybrid / multicloud integrations with dominant public cloud services to defend their share in the enterprise IT market. Performance Indicator in Deep Learning

It is used to point out a particular learning pattern, such as significant changes that can lead to a failure in the course. Ideal for helping instructors to advise students before it is too late. It is also able to provide a more effective way to analyze student engagement data and identify patterns. In this sense, the suggestion to reformulate the content will serve as additional support for students who are not completing a course or learning activity. MCITP certification certifies that a person has a specific set of skills that are required to carry out the responsibilities of a database administrator. Today, there are several platforms on the market, such as IBM Watson or Microsoft Azure, among others. When considering the use of deep learning in the development of e-learning it is advisable to choose a platform carefully, as each technology offered has its strengths and weaknesses. Other important issues to take into account are the needs of tutors and students, as well as the t

Data leakage costs: some examples of millionaire losses  March 2018. In a sorry statement, Equifax , a credit management giant in the United States, announces to the market that it expects the biggest loss since the data leak became on the radar of major global players. The figure, the company says, could reach $ 439 million. Equifax is just the latest big brand to see the influence of the hacker culture that has been gaining momentum in recent times. It joins other companies, such as the JPMorgan bank , which has had information about 76 million customers breached, and the multimedia company Sony Pictures , which in 2014 suffered unimaginable losses when its databases were published on the network. How to implement cloud computing solutions in your business

Migrating from the traditional model of computing to cloud computing is less complex than is commonly thought. Of course, it is necessary to follow some methods and practices so that everything happens in a coordinated manner and without major impacts for the companies' operations. The migration process begins with the choice of the cloud, which can be of three different models: public (shared with several companies, each with a well-defined level of access), private (the creation of its own cloud to meet business units) and hybrid (the combination of the two previous types). Know more about the  Managed Storage Services . This choice comes from a deep analysis of the company's particularities and needs, evaluation of legacy infrastructure and also strategic planning. Then, the services and resources to be purchased are chosen. Then, the provider and the contracting company sign a partnership contract, train users and go on the migration. All of this, of course, must be accompa

What is cloud computing?

Cloud computing can be seen as a technology derived from virtual servers. However, cloud computing services have a larger scope when compared to virtual servers. In general, cloud computing servers use virtual machines to provide access to computing resources for users. However, in this case, the difference is in the way they are distributed. In the cloud, the user can contract only the storage space, the right to use corporate software or even a set of virtual servers configured according to their demand. Thus, he / she will have access to different computational resources, paying according to his / her needs. When using cloud computing, the user makes use of a form of virtualization, but not always as complex as direct access to a virtual server. IT support technicians play a vital role in enterprise computing and networking environments. This educated professional identifies and resolves technical issues in an enterprise setting.

What is the relationship between IoT and cloud computing?

Now, how is this sea of devices connected to the web all the time? Most importantly, how do they work together? That's where cloud computing comes in! In practice, we can say that IoT is for cloud computing in the same way that fuel is for the car. In this simplifying metaphor, the energy produced by the fuel (IoT) moves the car (cloud computing). The opposite is also true: cloud computing supports and makes IoT really effective - it provides the ability to use computing and storage resources on demand, flexibly and with the necessary mobility. Consider that you have a set of 1,000 sensors in your factory. They are able to measure various types of data, from the emission of pollutants to the detection of intrusion (sensors are the “things” of the IoT). Imagine the amount of data generated by the sensors and the computational power needed to store, process and analyze this information. With a cloud computing structure, data collected through IoT devices are stored and processed i
