The study showed that there is no significant relationship between compliance with cybersecurity measures and the group characteristics of the respondents, such as country, gender, age or industry.

But there are still some differences. Thus, older people, on average, performed better than young people. Those who have already encountered online scams or phishing are much more circumspect. The British and employees of large companies (500+ people) are less likely to share their password with loved ones than the Americans and employees of small organizations. Full-time workers are more likely to face attacks than part-time workers.

Cybersecurity issues are also significantly influenced by how close an employee is to IT and how well IT support works in his company.
